P.S. I noticed in your plugin the images webp converter. It does not work proper.

It sopose to convert uploaded image to webp, and have that 1 webp image. The way it is now, is that it creates another same image in webp format, making every single uploaded picture double in hosting. JPG version and same image as webp.

Usually I just copy mp4 video url straight from the website(if it's in <video> format). But if I need to edit a video, cut, crop it or download it. Than I download it, do what I gotta do with it, and upload it to https://archive.org

As you can see https://archive.org/details/@madway_net/

So, you just need to find a website that provide straight mp4 links(some websites disable direct mp4 sharing on other websites), or upload it to archive.org.

Glonkerhttps://snappable.media/ How long does uploaded video stay there?

It depends on the uploader — from a few minutes up to a year, or never — of course, if they want to, they can also delete it without permission. There's no need to register either. It's good for the video clips on your website; maybe you could even write a plugin so that there's no need to visit the site, and instead upload from within the forum via the plugin, check the NSFW box, and set the retention period to permanent.

Mmmmm, this will be a huge work. Not for me of course, but for AI. The link you gave me earlier to Z.ai . I try to add a function to a simple plugin.php and it took FOREVER. Sometimes keep saying that it is "Under heavy load, try again later".

  • I don't think it's something I want to do. Maybe it would be more wise to create Google cloud or Amazon storage, something, but than again, it could create problems and stuff.

This is something that Developer of forum should do, to be honest.

I'm just thinking, if they allow some shit like this. Maybe they find out that one domain uses access to videos without visiting their website(aka they need visitors) and delete all the videos uploaded. But then again if no account needed then how would they know?

It gets more complicated the more I think about it. I'm pretty sure it's doable, but what about long run when they change the rules and all that.
